Since the middle of 2019 SvMet has launched testing of its proprietary software CASTEV 1.0 at an undisclosed CSP plant operation. This is due to highly sensitive information used in the plant and the customer has specifically ask for secrecy for the time being.

However some information can be shared via our website. Above all the operation involves a complex  logistics. The plant produces a wide variety of products with great success. The plant itself has two melting units, two LF and two casters. The testing program requires great care and coordination. Results indicate that so far control of specified tundish temperatures are far better with the use of CASTEV 1.0 than without it. However much more testing is to follow up before final approval.
